I would say thank you for today’s meditation except for one small point and you’re not the only one stuck on a topic. The Constitution, everyone keeps bring up how Trump can’t do whatever because it’s against the Constitution and Congress has not authorized this policy, this executive order, the blowing up of boats, the kidnapping of a foreign leader or this war that he has just created. Trump and his Reich DO NOT care about the Constitution or the authority of Congress. To be very blunt, neither does Congress care about either. The only way to stop this insanity is through a PEOPLES REVOLUTION.

I'm afraid this is going to be another Viet Nam. I usually don't rely on AI for anything but today I asked the question, "how many years has the USA been in a conflict, war, etc. in our 250 years. The answer was 200 out of 250 years. SO, three quarters of our time has been fighting another country. YES, G. Charles MacDonald, we NEED a PEOPLE'S REVOLUTION,

Wow...that is a stunning insight...200 out of 250 years. That really says it all, doesn't it?

when will we learn that war does not give birth to peace...

Love knows there is more than this.

Love sees the entire context - the before and after - of an addiction to power.

Love knows power is self-destructive and disengages from intervention to conserve its energy for healing.

Love predicts the healing crisis, prepares the hospital bed, and turns to the future of restored relationships.

Love practices powerlessness over militarism in order to seek the power of mutual security, empathy, collaboration and the absence of boundaries.

Love knows and shares fearless abundance.

Love is far more attractive - more powerful - than fear.

Jimi Hendrix said "When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace.” and it could be more accurate to say “When the attraction to love subverts the addiction to power, the world will know peace.”

subvert: verb - a plot to subvert the state. destabilize, unsettle, overthrow, overturn; bring down, bring about the downfall of, topple, depose, oust, supplant, unseat, dethrone, disestablish, dissolve; disrupt, wreak havoc on, sabotage, ruin, upset, destroy, annihilate, demolish, wreck, undo, undermine, undercut, weaken, impair, damage.

May we all belong to each other!

Complicated time, issues. I agree with the first post, Trump does what he wants.

As someone who has Iranian family, many Iranians wanted this to happen.

Not only does Trump not care about the Constitution, he thrives on violence. We’ve seen it in the Unleashing of ICE

on American communities, dropping bombs on Venezuelan boats , and now starting a war on Iran plump his ego

I hate that so many people see the Constitution as a joke. I see our Congress as a joke; they are motivated by their own greed. I live in a red state and communicate with my Congresspersons often. We agree on nothing and they are complacent in their Constitutional job descriptions. We are totally dependent federal funding. I keep calling, writing and showing up to protest and I am not alone in my resistance. Thank you for your thoughtful words from a state where wisdom is hard to find.

William Butler Yeats Prophetic Poem 1919

The Second Coming

By William Butler Yeats

Turning and turning in the widening gyre

The falcon cannot hear the falconer;

Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;

Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,

The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere

The ceremony of innocence is drowned;

The best lack all conviction, while the worst

Are full of passionate intensity.

Surely some revelation is at hand;

Surely the Second Coming is at hand.

The Second Coming! Hardly are those words out

When a vast image out of Spiritus Mundi

Troubles my sight: somewhere in sands of the desert

A shape with lion body and the head of a man,

A gaze blank and pitiless as the sun,

Is moving its slow thighs, while all about it

Reel shadows of the indignant desert birds.

The darkness drops again; but now I know

That twenty centuries of stony sleep

Were vexed to nightmare by a rocking cradle,

And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,

Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?

141565 Trump is now the dictator. Everyone of his actions is as a dictator. He sees no reason to

take congress or the supreme court into consideration. This is no longer business as usual. These times call for listening to the voices who understand the danger is with the current president and he has a strong following when he takes action on the international stage. The democratic party

is weak and one could argue has no sense of direction. Bill Clinton is also speaking out as to the dangers that are now confronting our country. One could argue the 2026 elections are in jeopardy and understand this president is highly capable of changing the book for 2028

elections.

And Trump can do what he wants because there is no accountability or punishment for his actions. We can opine about his behavior and his disrespect for the Constitution, but the DOJ is under his control as are the US Marshals, who would arrest him if the DOJ operated as it is supposed to.

Thank you. We have seen this play out in history forever. We need to get to the Promised Land: peace in the Mid East, the end of all wars, the end of our “enemies”. And citizens lives are sacrificed to get to this unachievable goal. There is a paradise at the end of this, or after you sacrifice, you will be in Paradise. “Progress”. At what cost? And for what?

Reckless warring woes…

self perpetuating pain.

People, mere puppets.
