Cameron's analysis is cogent and her heart is warm and wise. From a back pew in this chapel: Jesus' love didn't become a movement until after His resurrection, and the crucifixion of Jesus of Nazareth and crowd's choice of Jesus Barabbas and his methods of violence and punishment emerged from the dynamics she expresses. The Lamb has won; it was not, never has been, a tranquil walkover.

When words weaponized,

fear fed, fueled, wildfire widespread.

Violent end way.

...

Personal panic

plus punishing policies.

Peace-blocking pathway.

...

“Us-against-them,” scare

lies, lures our lowest instincts.

“God-with-us” all, truth.

Subscribed! Your meditations are part of my daily spiritual practice. I sent an email to our friend Brian M a while ago, thanking him for “introducing” me to you. Thank you. You have a wonderful way of naming what needs to be named and reframing ways to respond. The 2 meditations on fear are perfect examples. I hope subscribers help you keep up the good work.

This is an ominous time. Gerard’s analysis is insightful. I will look more into this. Thank you, Rev. Trimble.

This is coming…the longer inaction continues the more fear will begin to set in. When there is no global action fear will creep in.
