It is embarrassing how blind we can become to what is happening right around us. I live in a senior community that has an outside landscaping company take care of the grounds. Lately some people have been upset because there doesn't seem to be as many workers here each week. Well, guess what. Many of them are afraid. Afraid that if they show up to work there will be a raid on the company because they employee "you know who" because they can't get white, American citizens to do the work. While these workers may not understand enough English to know what we are saying when we babble on about what we want them to do with our rose bushes, they are hardworking individuals trying to make a living to support their families while living in fear. We have to also remember that the "web of tears" (rips) creates a "web of tears" (crying). Bless you Rev. Trimble for your powerful insights.
It’s not just the person removed, it’s the immediate family who live with and depend upon that person. That number now doubles and, in some cases even triples or worse.
That removal makes the American way of life more unstable and lesser in love, lesser in trust, lesser in productivity and lesser in humanity. BUT, the American people must be ok with that because everybody is sitting on their hands and supposed morals waiting for November 3rd. THAT will be too late for America, “the illegals” and the world because America is showing that it CANNOT be trusted…
I read a story similar to the one you shared every week. Souls who are loved and planted and snatched from their homes and their streets. My heart cracks open each time. Human beings are doing great harm to THEMSELVES by their cruelty. We are living in an atmosphere of hate. We are at war (literally and metaphorically) with each other and some days it's just too much to take in.
Words do have power and words do matter. LOVE is what defines us...all of us. There is no greater human/spiritual longing than the longing to be at home...the waiting the home coming of someone who will not arrive home alters the heart and life.
