Although man is capable of critical thinking with abilities to act on knowledge, we are the most ignorant of all species and always will be stupid.

America is proving it beyond a doubt with Trump. Everyone knows that he is destroying America and the world and even many of his Reich/gang know it but, greed and power are all consuming and true facts are irrelevant. The latest AI scare is a prime example. We have been told (and should have already known) that AI has or will have the ability to outsmart and/or destroy civilization. A whistleblower has finally told us, and now we want to slow the process down. Too little too late……

How did we all manage to reduce carbon emissions during Covid?!

Remember how the air cleared in front of the TagMahal?

As a culture, we are too short-sighted, too greedy, and too foolish. I’ve worked for more than 50 years on behalf of the environment and so many people don’t respond. They think it’s someone else’s responsibility or that if it were that big of a problem, the government or corporations would handle it. It is up to all of us. We are in this together.

Thanks for focusing on this issues. Please note: Anything that burns is bad, and this includes not only fossil fuels but the large amount of wood burned for heat all across our nation. Wood is the least efficient and most toxic of all the things we burn. But all things that burn produce the six critical air pollutants still listed by the EPA and some of the 100’s of hazardous air pollutants. These are directly connected to heart/lung/cancer issues. Recent research has connected PM2.5 to Parkinson’s disease, dementia, mood disorders. The latest research connect PM2.5 to autism when humans are exposed in the womb and in the first years of life. Don’t take my word for it the peer reviewed research is published. Human health improves immediately when we stop burning things, we help reduce but can no longer stop climate change as we have already loaded the atmosphere with too much carbon. Green methods not only save money and help the climate in the long term but make us and the earth healthier immediately. Please allow your faith to motivate you to vote for climate champions and to work on state and local level policy.

Our current leadership appears to revel in defying and denying wisdom. There is no core decency or goodness left on which to build an argument.
