I’m a newbie to your contemplative writing in the last couple months, and I look forward to your postings all through the week. Your reflections are consistently some of the wisest and most insightful material I find anywhere. I particularly found today’s spiritual practice of stability to be helpful. Thanks for all that you do, springing so clearly from who you are.
This is exactly what I’ve been saying and doing. Many of my peers are fearful and acting out of that fear. That allows the perpetrators to win. When we stay the course, we are effectively resisting becoming assimilated.
Those of us who seek stability, having made a promise in the Order of Julian of Norwich, are so encouraged when someone like you states the necessity of it so clearly and from the heart. Thank you, Cameron. Until a friend passed this on to us, I had never heard of you. But I know this: I and we need to hear such a steadying message in this time of civilization destruction.
When the world is burning, support “WE CARE DAY” and let the world know we see your plight and want to offer a leg up.
There is so much sadness in our country. We need a national day of good trouble in the way of doing good which is why The Rooster Revival has created this day of kindness.
Something to bring all people of good will together which is why The Rooster Revival is encouraging acts of kindness on “WE CARE DAY”, February 14th, the lovers holiday we encourage to extend to “love our neighbors” too day :)
Random acts of kindness are fun for both giver and receiver, but the gift is always to the giver. However, both are left smiling. Let’s do it.
One day. One nation. One Love. Show someone you care, February 14th on “WE CARE DAY” Will you join us?
Thank you Reverend Trimble. Such perfect timing for our Benedictine Oblate group at Glastonbury Abbey in HIngham, MA. For this year's theme we have taken the practice of Stability as described in the Rule of St. Benedict. I will share your words with them. You offer a spiritual source deeper than the chaotic movement all around us but strong enough to sustain us as we are whip-lashed by what is happening. Amazing how a 6th century writing speaks to us in 2026.
Thank you for the hope you shared from history. This is empowering and encouraging. I have shared it on my Facebook page to pass this blessing forward.

Once again your words speak to my heart and offer me the direction and clarity I long for. What a gift. Thank you.🕊️💝🕊️🙏🕊️
To remain present,
stay disciplined and faithful.
Human and humane.
...
Commit to truth, care,
goodness, not neutrality.
Restraint, not revenge.
Thank you, again!
To me, getting up each morning tastes of staying 🐌
Beautiful sentiments. Thank you for sharing this timely reflection.

This Franciscan thinks that those Benedictines may have been onto something. Thank you for a beautiful poignant piece.
The Mystery of Staying - needed as I live in the upclose and personal and the ever maddening wider and wilder world. Thankyou.

Thank you for these encouraging words. And I the video at the end was illuminating.
I needed your insights today. “Naming the danger is not despair; it is sanity.” Thanks so much, Cameron.
