Yes, yes, yes! Climate change has been largely ignored recently because we have been caught up in the shorter term disasters affecting people's lives, right now. BUT: there is a reckoning coming...and the planet is trying to tell us to look toward something greater - a relationship of love and respect with all people AND other-than-humans. Thank you for writing this. You are naming the place I have come to in these days. I want to put my energy into co-creating what comes next as I know with greater clarity the injustice and unhealth of the system we have been such a blind and deaf part of. There are others who have seen, heard and known more truth who can teach us.
An underlying issue rarely raised about our assault on Mother Earth is the weapons industry. The USA sells more weapons worldwide than all other countries combined, including Russia and China. Attempts to audit the Pentagon have been unsuccessful for at least 7 years, billions of dollars unaccounted for. War is profitable for a very few. Dark money abounds. We reached MAD - mutually assured destruction -a few decades ago. Now countries are again ramping up weapons production to solve existential fears of each other. If humanity survives to create a new peaceful world we will have to let go of our addiction to patriarchal empire induced fire/power...

Amen and amen. Thank you for this perspective of “holy chaos” as I call it where the Spirit is at work opening new possibilities for us humans to wake up to the truth that we are only part of the great expansive whole of creation. Thank you for your words of encouragement and inspiration.
