I ache for the whole world....and afraid that America will destroy the world...one nation at a time.

I am Canadian and my fear has increased.

Thank you for your continued truth telling

Praying for those who carried out these acts knowing it was wrong, but didn't have the courage to refuse the orders 🙏

I really like your logic that believing or not, people cannot turn from this abomination. Basically, the end does not justify the means.

The American People need to WAKE UP.

Absolutely right. And the implications when the country doing these things is the most powerful in the world, and has the ability to demolish the planet with its warheads, the situation is even more dire for the rest of us in the world. It's terrifying. American citizens have the responsibility to ensure all of our safety and futures by ousting their current administration as soon as they can. The world is waiting. America taking action like this latest atrocity also opens the doors wide for any other authoritarian state to walk into any other country it fancies, with impunity.

Cameron, thank you again and again for your prophetic voice which reminds me and many others to stand up to the violence, death and illegal actions by so many leaders these days. Thank you for the courage to keep writing about the essence of the Christian message which is not being considered by many american leaders.

3. What does faithful citizenship look like when your own nation violates its stated values?

This question presupposes that it is possible to be a faithful citizen when the whole basis for citizenship is crumbling. Democracies have citizens. Dictatorships, kingdoms have subjects. I reckon we're somewhere in between the two but with powerful forces hurtling us in the direction of autocracy, oligarchy and even monarchy.

I think this year will reveal whether the regime in power in the US will allow free and fair elections and whether it intends to ever relinquish power. These are dark questions, I know, and still leaves opaque to me what effective resistance to those outcomes looks like. I guess that question is the one I'm in at present.

thank you, Cameron, for sparking this much self reflection on my part.

I believe allowing Netanyahu to violate international agreements, violate human rights and even give weapons to his government to commit genocide has empowered Trump all the more to disregard international law. If Netanyahu is free to do whatever… why not Trump, Putin???? The litmus test has been Zionism and we failed. So here we are with Trump.

I am a Canadian who is wide awake. We are next door to a devouring lawless giant, a friend no longer. I pray for us all, especially Prime Minister Carney.

Tyranny at work.

Faith calls for truth. If silent...

our moral ground, gone.
