My wife and I lived in a remote fly-in Indigenous community for awhile and there were judges flown in every few months for kangaroo court. I recall one such judge telling me that you can always tell the health of a community by looking at those least-supported (in our case it was the dogs). So yeah, the market doesn't measure what the heart and gut come to understand.
Thank you, Cameron. I latched on to your suggestion of calling those who serve us in our economy by name. Such a simple but hugely important sign of respect and acknowledgement. Harder to label and target when we know a person by name.

What is needed is TRUST in the reality that all has already been given in ABUDANCE ...and that TRUST inactive will give birth to a world economy for all and for Mother Earth.

The last line of the prayer -- "May there be enough" -- got me thinking about the Defense Department's latest budget request of 1.5 trillion dollars, not to mention an additional 67 billion dollars for the war with Iran. I'm no economist, but I'm pretty sure with some of that money we could fund free day care, restore the "May there be enough."
