Cameron, I was deeply, breathlessly astonished by the wisdom and truth of this! Thank you. A few weeks ago I shared with the Sunday school class I get to lead that I’d experienced the costly reality of running faster than my legs and feet could eventually sustain. Falling when moving as fast as I can is consequential. But I remember, and I learned. A sabbatical pace of life is not only prudent, it’s the only sustainable rhythm that’ll get us where we need to be. Peace in your journey…
Good morning, Rev. Cameron. What I'm about to say I'm sure is common to many of us. I need a Sabbath from politics. I need to let it go for awhile. I wake early. And for years, the first thing I'd do during the holy time would be to read something. Now I go right to YouTube. Not good.
