To repair the world,

broken, not beyond beauty.

To “refuse despair.”

...

Tend “to what remains,”

collect scattered trust, courage.

“Stay... gather... mend,” love.

Rev Cameron...OMG every morning I wake up to dread and feelings of what now in this world. BUT you my dear one always give me hope about this world. What you wrote about repairing the world and not to mean restoring it back to what it was because that world does not exist hit me over the head like a ton of bricks. The world DOES truly get better with each generation, and it cannot be as you said "the work of a single generation or faith. We all have to work together as a global entity. If you ever have the time (or maybe you have already), I would love to read a bio of you, to include how you grew up, and how you became so enlightened. I love your posts and look forward to them every morning. Peace and grace be with you always!

I have a beautifully illustrated “children’s” book called Light by Jane Breslin Zalben that illustrates this parable. Thank you for the reminder. This is our work - tikkun olam

Cameron, your steady words of insight, perspective and faith have been keeping me from despair over the state of our nation. Thank you. I will keep on in what ways I can to repair the brokenness of our nation and resist the tyranny that harms so many people.

Thank you, Rev. Cameron for your Jewish mystical teaching. We also learn, from this teaching, that we have a spark of the Divine in us...
