A Meditation by Rev. Cameron Trimble
So well said. Thank you.
Amen. Love this, the courage, returning to tenderness, being safety, transforming. Thank you!,
Thank you. Thank you. Yes: "This, too, is sanctuary. Not just a physical space of sanctuary, but a way of being with one another - a way of offering shelter though our care, our presence, our willingness to listen and stand near the pain."
Thank you!
Our dear Buddhist teacher, Thich Naht Hanh, wrote a beautifully
book he named “Being Peace.”
He, too, lived through times where the ravages of unfettered violence —violence meant to harden the heart— ripped open the land.
Not “acquiring peace”, seeking peace, but being it—being a clearing for peace.
You are That. May we all be That.
