This quality of kindness requires a very deep connection to the integrity of pure love as a way of living. I am finding that holding this sacred space is the most important contribution we each bring for a healed world.
I have found kindness to be transformational. Most times people don’t expect it! We’ve become a very self-centered society and quick to use our tongues and social posts to express our anger and hostility in our discontent. Even small acts of kindness and gratitude take people off guard. I thanked a young man for holding the door open for me as I entered our workout place and I thanked him saying I appreciated his kindness. He smiled such a big grin. I’m not sure he ever thought of that simple act as a kindness….but it was for me.
Lord, keep us kind. It is a fruit of Your Spirit.
Thank you Cameron for pointing us, once again, to God’s ways of mercy and love.
The most radical and sacred form of resistance the shines the light of love on all things. One must deal with our own reactions first, before we can "be pure love." Thank you again.
Dear Cameron, Thank you for this thoughtful meditation. It reminds me of work that I am called to do both in the church and in a secular organization called Braver Angels.

Thank you for sharing this this morning. I see there is a lot of resources in here as well. I'm checking them out!
Actually, I guess YOU didn't share, but someone else did and linked this substack. I'm grateful.
