I call it squinting. Sometimes we have to squint to change our perspective. Wondrous what we can see when we allow ourselves to view from a different angle.
Thank you, Cameron, for pointing this out with the practice of a “T” diagram.
What a positive, encouraging reflection! As I read this I thought of the passage that alludes to the Kingdom of God is here within you. It IS here, working through the current state of affairs. It is the change that is happening on all levels. We need to stop focusing on the darkness and start looking through the light of hope, to see its reality and start to believe with trust. Yes! More reflections on this is very healthy. Many of us don’t even realize we can do this…look with the light of hope in a darkening world.
Emily Dickinson comes to mind:
“Tell all the truth but tell it slant —
Success in Circuit lies
Too bright for our infirm Delight
The Truth's superb surprise
As Lightning to the Children eased
With explanation kind
The Truth must dazzle gradually
Or every man be blind”
I call it squinting. Sometimes we have to squint to change our perspective. Wondrous what we can see when we allow ourselves to view from a different angle.

Thanks for the wisdom..."wisdom means being able to notice what's starting to grow or change."

Thank you, Rev. Cameron. We all needed this reminder that despite the fog, there are still blue skies.
