Dougal Hine, a European environmentalist, borrowed a descriptive some years ago that still speaks to me today. That you speak this day. That we are "living in the ruins." That we must admit that it's too late to arrest the environmental disaster we've unleashed. That as Alisdair MacIntyre said our civilization as we have known it is indeed collapsing as modernity dies. But that we can choose to leave good ruins for the generations to come. This is the Jesus way. Thank you, Cameron, you continue to tell us the truth.
Good morning, Rev. Cameron and thank you. We have the "right now," "the right here," and as the apostle Paul says, "If God is for us, who can be against us?"
I am so grateful for your work, the wisdom in your reflections, the prayers and practices. Especially today.....holding the grief and the beauty together

Thank you. Your words remind me to stay present in this chaos. Well written for the times we live in.

Absolutely love this. Here's to not feeling hopeless because we can't fix it, but staying awake, ready and paying attention.
The spirit of this book sounds like Viktor Frankl's Man's Search for Meaning, which is such a powerful read too.
🙏 Cameron , you have a gift for weaving word’s of wisdom together and highlighting issues of our time.
