Our world gets more dangerous by the hour and it is not because of Trump, it’s because America is allowing Trump and his gang to continue with this reign of terror. Until America really and truly stands up for what is good, they will continue to debase the world.

Thank you Cameron. I think we must also be very aware of How we protect. Let us all focus on our intentions for our world, with a singular eye toward the good that is emerging at the edges of this cultural disintegration. Let us keep looking, praying, and lifting together, Knowing that as communities of faith, love, and compassion, a new and better world is growing. How will we know this is what is growing? Because this is what we are planting.

When leaders lose way

spiritual crises prevail.

Suffering entailed.

...

Discernment erodes,

sensitivity goes numb.

“Stay awake... human”!

...

“Hold moral center,”

not contempt, nor compliance.

Speak up for truth, love.

What you’re naming here is exactly the kind of moment Cognitive Transformational Mindfulness (CTM) was designed for. CTM is a mindfulness framework I developed that focuses on staying awake without becoming numb—integrating clear perception, emotional truth, and ethical action when reality becomes destabilizing. It teaches how to grieve what’s happening without collapsing, how to feel outrage without losing discernment, and how to act without surrendering our humanity. In times like this, CTM isn’t about inner calm—it’s about protecting conscience, coherence, and moral clarity when power itself has lost its center.

Amen. Beautifully written! I've quoted that same Scripture in response to those (so-called "Christians") who criticize "woke" culture. I always thought we were supposed to be awake!

Having watched my father begin to lose his grasp on reality, this is really scary. The only way that I could deal with it with my Dad was through a lot of tears and laughs. Not because it was funny, but I needed something to laugh at, or else despair would be too powerful! This however is not funny, it is downright scary.

Thank you for articulating this so clearly, especially the need to have compassion for Trump (and those who support or enable his behavior) while also doing what we can to protect those endangered by the disregard for human rights and lives.
