Sometimes, often times, I find the best thing I can do is to be still, to rest in our God’s Presence, to let the raging fires of fear within die down. Then I may be able to know what to “do”.
As Ursula (my wife) and I were reading your reflection on one little drop, we paused, smiled and walked into our office and sent a short one minute video reflection on what small action we doing to help the immigrants and genocide issues.
I love the idea that God can take our small drop and can do something amazing with it. God can multiply it for good. Thank you for the reminder, Cameron.
I am watching “my” hummingbirds with new eyes. As a preacher, I committed this year to focus on the gospel texts for my sermons. I love, the older testament stories. But this discipline for myself is also an act of resistance.
Love this!!!!!! Love your daily posts that integrate current events with spiritual nurture!!! Thank you Cameron!!!!
