Yes—holy rage—the choice is a culture of life or of death. It is that clear. I’m 81 now— and walk in disbelief, in grief, and in rage—I’ll walk head up into this storm as long as able. Posting one from my North of 80 Substack. Free to subscribe—to share—to walk togther—join me.

Holy One,

There are days when our hearts burn with sorrow,

and days when they burn with fury.

Let neither consume us. Let both refine us…

Thank you, Cameron.

Thank you Cameron for I rage every day. And it is hard to know where to put my rage at this regime. They are attacking liberal churches now also. No money for programs that they deem incongruent with their intolerance. Just like the Romans: Peace through Conquest: or Submit or Die

Cameron, I am so thankful for you and your ability to bring before our eyes the " knowings" that lie deep within each of us. These times do call for rage, against all who do not care about others or any part of creation. This is a time for not only Lamentation but action, trusting every action we do for the common good will have multiple effects in our world.

Am reading Matthew Fox's 'Trump & the MAGA Movement as Anti-Christ' - bit late, I know, but he has an articulated concept of evil. Heartbreaking that so many are gloating over evil deeds.

I too must admit that I try not to focus on evil and instead err on the side of love. Yet, I think you are correct, unless a fire ignites inside of us, we will continue to look the other way (as long as the evil does not effect us). I pray not only for that holy fire of rage, but for the wisdom to know how to best use it. We are indeed in this together!
