Thank you and thank for the word 'lament', it conjures up the beating of the breast, women wailing together and all that is true. I find it hard to forgive yet I must, myself first for so often thinking, 'well I live in the UK' this is the USA. Only yesterday our PM agreed to let the US use our bases so we are complicit. How to forgive leadership that is not leadership but ego driven or 'sick', how to forgive the horror the bombing, the suffering? I don't know, all I know is that words you have written help reorientate me to truth and stability, reorient me to choice, kind actions, kind words and tough questions to my MP.
Yes, UK is complicit. Fear the EU will be the next to capitulate. Spanish PM only EU leader to openly condemn the strikes on Iran and refuse air bases. Of course the EU wants US help to end war of aggression in Ukraine. Lament, for sure.
