Piloting Faith: Learning to trust...

A Word for the Day...
My friend asked, “How did you know when you were on the right path, when you were doing what you were made to do?”
“I think we are all made to do any number of things,” I said. “But for me, I sense it’s a life-giving path because my soul must travel it. It calls to me. It’s the path lined with color and energy. I know it because I feel like I can breathe.”
“I know what path I want to choose,” she said. “My parents will hate it. My friends will think I’ve lost my mind. They might be right.”
“Of course they will hate it. It’s not their path. It is yours.”
Learning to trust your intuition is the hardest work of your life. But its the point of the journey.

Prayer for the Week
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace;
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.
