A Word for the Day...
I just published a book with 250,000 words. I actually wrote a book with 600,000 words. I threw out 350,000 words. I threw out about 1.5 times the words I published.
Sometimes discernment is knowing what to keep and what to toss. Thank god for good editors. And Marie Kondo (if you don't know this reference, look her up).
Out of curiosity: What in your life would be made more beautiful, more effective or more powerful if you condensed it down instead of scaling it up?
