Piloting Faith: Resurrection is a process...

A Word for the Day...
We are entering Holy Week. It always comes too fast for me. I never feel like I have enough time to prepare, to really let the possibility of resurrection seep into me. Easter Sunday arrives, and I feel rushed like I need to cram in all the potential for transformation into the days between Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
But then I remember that Easter is a season. Ressurection is a process, a way of living. Life, then death, then life again.
This Lenten season has brought me the invitation to heal old wounds, to slow down, to connect with friends, family, and nature. It's reminded me that life is fragile, precious and over all too soon, so we should live it boldly. Its reminded me that my fear is usually misplaced, I have always been enough and I have more work yet to do to make a more beautiful world. So do you.
As we remember the death and resurrection of Jesus, consider your own journey. What are you invited to die to, to let go forever? What in you is being born anew?

Blessing for the Week
Blessed are you who turn with passion, with strength, and with hope, for you will be filled with the God who is coming to life in you.
