Piloting Faith: Have you seen this incredible sculpture?

A Word for the Day...
I recently saw this image of a sculpture on display at the Burning Man Festival this year. It represents two adults arguing. They face away from each other, lost in isolation and division. Yet inside of each of them there is a child who's deepest desire is to connect to the other.
This sculpture takes my breath away.

We are built to be in relationship with each other. Every one of us longs to be known, to be accepted, to be seen. I pray that you have friends, family, loved ones who, even in the pain of inevitable conflict, see the innocent longing within you and loves you towards wholeness.
I also pray you can love others the same way. After all, that is what Jesus was trying to teach us.

Prayer for the Week
That you may have
the wisdom to know the story
to which God calls you,
the power to pursue it,
the courage to abide its mysteries,
and love in every step.
